Muscle soreness with heart: team Kreussler helps bring the biotope back to life.

When team spirit meets initiative, the result is not only shared experiences but also sustainable results. As part of the „Wiesbaden engaged!“ initiative, the Kreussler team took on a very special task this year: reviving the overgrown biotope at the Klarenthal school on the Klarenthal campus.

Armed with shovels, buckets and numerous wheelbarrows of earth and stones, the team tackled the densely overgrown site. It quickly became clear that this task required strength and stamina, and left many with sore muscles afterwards. But the effort was worth it: step by step, the biotope re-emerged and can now once again develop into a vibrant habitat for plants and animals.

Despite the physical exertion, the atmosphere was excellent. Sharing laughter, working together and celebrating achievements is exactly what turned the day into a memorable experience. Even the students, who followed the activities with interest, were able to see first-hand how teamwork can help restore natural spaces. One highlight was the interview with our Managing Director, Dr Travers, which was spontaneously conducted by a class of schoolchildren.

By the end of the day, it was clear to all: we had not only reclaimed a piece of nature, but also strengthened our team spirit. A mission that unites us and leaves traces that are meant to grow.
